Viola Vest Description:
The Viola vest features overlapped side edges which have been rotated to create a slightly
flared silhouette, with angled splits at the sides. The neckline boasts a wide V and
simple armbands. Viola Vest has been designed as a layering piece or a top on its own. Our
instructions also include an option of how to create a longer closure at the side edges for a more modest look.
Tamarama Set Description:
Designed for woven fabrics. The shirt style is an oversized look. Detailed finished measurements are included, which will assist if you would like to size down for a slimmer fit.
Featuring a relaxed drop shoulder seam and button down front, this shirt is on trend and can be dressed up or down. The pants are a wider fit through leg and boast an adjustable drawstring closure.
Ritual Pattern Description:
Designed for woven fabrics. This style is a slightly oversized look. If you prefer a fitted look we recommend you assess the size chart and finished garment measurements then size down if suitable.
To view the hack we made on this style, see the blog post over on the journal.
The Ritual dress (View A Dress) features a modern take on the shirt dress. The style includes deep splits at the side seams to create movement in the skirt section. The structured style includes the classic yoke and centre back pleat, which adds ease to the body section.
The look is completed with the classic button up cuffs & shirt maker collar.
The Ritual shirt (View B Shirt) features all the above with a side splits option. Option to include a draw string casing on both A & B views.
Viola Vest:
Medium to heavy weight knit/stretch fabrics such as soft knits
through to chunky knits, waffle, rib knits, french terry.
We recommend choosing a mid to heavy weight knit fabric.
However, this design can also be sewn in a light knit,we have found it to have a higher degree of difficulty at the neckline construction.
Ritual Pattern:
Chambray, cotton, linen, crepe, crinkle cotton, double gauze cotton, light linens, linen blends, light polyester. Most weights of woven fabric will work well for this design. A light fabric will produce a softer more fluid look.
A heavy weight linen will also work well and create a bold dramatic look.
